We understand that the world may seem somewhat daunting right now, but rest assured that your safety remains our absolute priority, and so working alongside leading Covid-19 experts, all Best Western Hotels have made changes to keep everyone safer, healthier and happier.

Whilst some restrictions remain in place, we are working hard behind the scenes to offer a good range of services and amenities and to make guests feel welcome and safe. If a national UK lockdown is reintroduced, any bookings that are made directly with us by phone or on our own website will be cancelled and refunded in full.

Our 5 main areas of requirements and recommendations are all part of an industry leading accreditation scheme developed to reassure our guests.



For your piece of mind, here is a list of some of the safety measures that are currently in place.  Please note that government guidelines are continuously changing and these points will be updated accordingly without prior notice in order to comply:

  • We encourage our guests and co-workers to wear face coverings in public areas whilst not seated and to practice social distancing measures where possible.
  • Every guestroom will be ventilated between stays. For best results, check-in will be no earlier than 2pm to allow for proper ventilation of your room.
  • We will continue to not service guest rooms for stay-overs unless requested with our reception team by 10am.
  • We have introduced mobile technology to help you check-in and check-out remotely.
  • We have screens to shield guests and co-workers at reception without hiding a welcome smile.
  • There will be hand sanitisation stations in our public areas.
  • For more towels, bedding or any other amenities, guests can contact reception, and whatever is needed will be delivered to your room.
  • Our linen is laundered at over 60 degrees centigrade.
  • Additional checks on serviced rooms will be carried out by supervisors and management ensuring our highest standards are maintained. 
  • Our swimming pool does not require pre-booking however is subject to a 10 person limit.
  • We are offering table service for all food and drink orders in our bar and restaurant.
  • All meals served in our restaurant, including breakfast, will require guests to book a time slot. You can contact us to book your preferred time for breakfast or dinner once you have made your reservation, or we can book your time slot at check-in.
  • Our menus and guest directories are accessible by using the QR codes and web links on display in your room, in public areas or on your booking confirmation.
  • We have increased the frequency and efficiency of cleaning procedures adopting clinically approved and certified sanitising products proven to be effective against COVID-19.
  • Our hotel has been independently audited using approved Environmental Health protocols.
